Dr. Ruginis was born in Wolverhampton, England. He arrived in the United States in 1961 and has lived in Lisle for the past 19 years. He has been in practice on Ogden Ave. in Lisle for over 20 years.
Dr. Ruginis is a 1975 graduate of Loyola University. Graduating with honors, he received his Doctorate from the National College of Chiropractic in 1978. Dr. Ruginis has continued his post graduate studies with courses in nutrition, sports injury assessment and treatment, whiplash injuries, and homeopathy.
During his 35+ years of practice in Lisle, he has been involved in the Chamber of Commerce, was President of the Lisle Jaycees, and acted as secretary and treasurer of the Lisle Rotary Club. Dr. Ruginis was founder and chairman of the Alliance for Alternative Health Care. He volunteers for PADS, Market Day, and is an usher and Eucharistic minister at St. Joan of Arc Church. Also, the Lisle High School football team was proud to have Dr. Ruginis as its team physician for 10 years.
A member of the American Chiropractic Association, Illinois Chiropractic Society, and the Foundation for Chiropractic Research and Education, Dr. Ruginis' mission in life is to help as many people as possible achieve health through Chiropractic. He is a firm believer in the Chiropractic philosophy, exercise, and nutrition. Regular chiropractic care is part of his life as well as the lives of his wife and four children.
